Multicolor Cotton Kolkata Stripe Trousers
These trousers are inspired by domestic textile, circa 1950s West Africa. This is a historical reproduction of the traditional West African Kondi-Gulei made by the Mende people. We worked with weavers in India to make the cloth more durable than the traditional strip woven style. The silhouette is that of a traditional trouser - high rise, straight leg. All wear, mending, and idiosyncrasies are unique to the original textile.
Model wears Size 32 / This style runs narrow in the hip. We recommend sizing up.
