Crepe Silk 'Bacchanal' Aloha Shirt
The Bacchanal were festivals of Bacchus, the Greco-Roman god of wine, freedom, intoxication and ecstasy. Originally stemming from Greece, from the Dionysian Mysteries and the ecstatic cult of Dionysus. The Bacchanal served different types of religious functions: The first was celebrated by the public, which brought attention to dramatic plays— either tragedy or Satyr—comedic play. The second belongs to the sexual frenzy and unpolitical cult, which focuses on the release of the sexual tension among people to appease their desires and feel connected to Bacchus. In an intricately painted scene, psychedelic characters and foliage collide in an orgy of vibrancy as acidic flowers and pulsating bulbs swirl into fractals; drunk on color are human and animal forms that ride each other on the stimulating vibration of a cosmic wave.Every Item Sold Endless Joy Plants Three Trees.
