Hero Printed Skirt in Black Heavyweight Cotton Jersey. “Hero” is a Mickey Mouse sculpture. No torso has been recovered. "In light of what is happening in the world and the direction in which events are shaping up I was thinking about how civilisations fall. The Egyptian civilisation, the Roman and more recently the British empire – at some point sun set on all of them. It's the Natural Course of history. Just look at the Great Britain now, once the biggest superpower stretching across the globe, it is now but a small island off the coast of Europe. The only thing that's left to remind us of its greatness is its name. "Back to our days, I was thinking about our inevitable fall and how our quotidian life will be studied and turned into a museum exhibition. I tried to imagine what that museum exhibition might be filled up with. For that reason, I created a fictitious museum called The Natural Course of History Museum. I imagined an exhibition that might be held there called The Fall of The Western Civilisation. The artworks of that exhibition became the prints with which i emblazoned my garments. In a way this capsule collection is a merchandise range for this future exhibition."
